The Opportunity
Joining a highly regarded Tax Legal division, you will work closely with experienced Managers and Partners on complex taxation matters for a diverse portfolio of clients, including:
Private business owners
Family groups
High-net-worth individuals
International investors
Emerging and established enterprises
This role offers exposure well beyond traditional compliance, providing an opportunity to develop deep technical expertise across a broad range of advisory engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Research and assist in delivering high-quality tax advice across a broad client portfolio
Advise on complex business restructures, succession planning, acquisitions and divestments
Assist clients with international expansion, cross-border structuring, and international tax matters
Provide advice on property transactions and investment structures
Division 7A
Small Business CGT Concessions
Tax Consolidations
TOFA
Deliver advisory services relating to GST, payroll tax, and other indirect taxes
Collaborate closely with Partners and senior specialists on complex technical matters
About You
You are an ambitious tax professional seeking to build a long-term career in specialist tax advisory.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Law, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline
1–3 years' experience within Business Services, Tax Advisory, Tax Consulting, or Tax Law
A genuine interest in developing technical tax expertise
Currently studying or motivated to commence CTA and/or a Master of Taxation
Skills & Attributes
Strong technical and analytical capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Commercial mindset with a genuine commitment to client service
Curious, proactive, and solutions‐focused approach
Ability to simplify complex tax issues and communicate practical outcomes
Desire to continuously learn and develop as a trusted adviser
