Yokogawa is looking for a drivenBusiness Development Manager - Process Instrumentationto join our Victoria team.
In this role, you will champion our industry-leading product range, including field instruments, process analyser solutions, controllers, and recorders, acting as a trusted technical advisor to our customers.
You'll combine strong engineering knowledge with sales acumen to grow our customer base and discover new opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling in your designated product sales area.
What You'll Do
Identify, qualify and close key sales opportunities across all potential markets
Promote Yokogawa's product range, including field instruments, process analysers, controllers and recorders
Provide technical solutions and consulting expertise tailored to customer needs
Develop and implement sales plans and budgets for your product area
Manage and grow the existing customer base while pursuing new accounts
Support customers through your technical, design and engineering expertise
Help drive the rollout of new, strategically important products
Maintain accurate records of client activity and installed products in our CRM system
Build solid, lasting relationships with customers and stakeholders
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications
A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Chemical Engineering
At least 3 years' experience in the application and/or sales of industrial instrumentation
Skills & Qualities




Strong technical expertise combined with highly developed sales skills
Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
Sharp research, analytical and problem-solving abilities
Solid project management, planning and organisational skills
Self-driven, motivated and professional, with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
Strong negotiation and leadership skills, with a talent for spotting and pursuing new opportunities
