The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Government and White-Collar Recruitment team.
Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, you will manage white-collar recruitment assignments across ACT Government, NSW Government, local council and private sector clients.
You will receive dedicated support from a Recruitment Support Coordinator covering onboarding, compliance, reference checks, pre-employment checks, timesheets and contractor administration.
This allows you to focus on candidate sourcing, recruitment delivery, client relationships and growing an active contractor workforce.
The successful candidate must have practical experience working with theNSW Government SCM**** Contingent Workforce Scheme.
Key Responsibilities
Manage white-collar recruitment assignments across ACT Government, NSW Government, local council and private sector clients
Deliver recruitment services across relevant SCM**** categories
Work closely with the Director and recruitment consultant to manage job orders and recruitment priorities
Source, screen and interview candidates for temporary, contract and permanent opportunities
Prepare accurate and compliant candidate submissions within government panel deadlines
Write candidate summaries that clearly address role requirements and selection criteria
Develop talent pools for recurring and difficult-to-fill vacancies
Build strong relationships with candidates, contractors, hiring managers and procurement stakeholders
Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process
Coordinate with the Recruitment Support Coordinator on onboarding, compliance and mobilisation
Maintain regular contact with contractors and support extensions and redeployment
Advertise vacancies and proactively source candidates through SEEK, LinkedIn, referrals and professional networks
Contribute to client delivery, contractor growth and gross profit targets
Support recruitment campaigns, workforce planning and tender requirements when needed

Previous white-collar recruitment experience within government,
professional services or a recruitment agency
Demonstrated recent experience (within 12 months) under the NSW Government SCM**** Contingent Workforce Scheme
Strong understanding of government candidate submission processes and panel deadlines
Experience delivering temporary, contract or labour hire recruitment
Strong candidate sourcing, screening and interviewing skills
Ability to prepare high-quality candidate summaries and written submissions
Robust stakeholder management and candidate care skills
Ability to manage multiple urgent vacancies in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written communication and attention to detail
Commercial focus with the ability to meet recruitment and contractor growth targets
Highly Regarded
Existing relationships with ACT Government, NSW Government agencies or local councils
Experience across multiple SCM**** categories
Experience using Beeline, Fieldglass, and C#.
NET.
Experience recruiting high-volume or difficult-to-fill roles
Knowledge of government procurement and contingent workforce processes
Experience with business development and client account growth
