About the role
We are seeking a reliable and organisedStoremanto join THE FENCE DEPOT in Nerang, Queensland.
This is afull‐time positionbased at our warehouse facility, offering an excellent opportunity to become a key member of our logistics and distribution team.
As a Storeman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our storage and distribution centre, managing inventory, and maintaining the smooth flow of goods through our warehouse.
What you'll be doing
Receiving, checking and processing incoming goods and materials into the warehouse management system
Organising and storing inventory in designated locations to maximise space and ensure easy retrieval
Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently according to customer requirements
Conducting regular stock counts and maintaining accurate inventory records
Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and responsibly
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring goods are secured appropriately
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety standards
Identifying and reporting any damaged goods or discrepancies in inventory
Assisting with general warehouse maintenance and upkeep of equipment
Supporting the warehouse team to meet daily, weekly and monthly performance targets
What we're looking for
Proven experience working in a warehouse, storage or distribution environment




Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment including forklifts (forklift licence or willingness to obtain one is advantageous)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Physical capability to lift, carry and move items regularly, often weighing up to 20kg or more
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Good communication skills and a professional approach to customer service
Commitment to health and safety standards and best practices
Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
