ELG Australia is seeking an experienced and inspiring Venue Manager to lead the iconic Sorrento Beach Club at Hillary's Boat Harbour.

About the Role
As Venue Manager, you will be the driving force behind the day-to-day success of the venue.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll lead from the front, inspire your team, and ensure every service delivers an exceptional guest experience.
You'll oversee all aspects of venue operations, including restaurant, bar, events, and facilities, while maintaining the highest standards of service, presentation, safety, and commercial performance.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead all daily venue operations, ensuring seamless service across restaurant, bar and event spaces.
Inspire, mentor and develop Supervisors, Bar Managers and Duty Managers to build a high-performing team.
Drive service excellence by leading from the floor and setting the standard every shift.
Deliver memorable guest experiences,



confidently managing VIP guests and resolving complex service situations.
Coordinate staffing, rostering and service flow to maximise efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Foster a positive, professional and collaborative team culture built on accountability and respect.
Maintain exceptional venue presentation, cleanliness and ambience at all times.
Ensure full compliance with liquor licensing, food safety, WHS and company standards.
Oversee maintenance requirements to ensure the venue consistently operates at its best.
Work closely with senior leadership to achieve financial, operational and customer experience goals.

Additional Information
This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays in line with business trading requirements.
While this position is based at Sorrento Beach Club, successful applicants may also be considered for opportunities across other ELG Australia venues located in Hillarys, Iluka, Applecross and Yanchep.
