As an integral part of our Maintenance team at our Primary Processing Plant in Bolivar, you'll provide operational support and deliver planned preventative maintenance that keeps our equipment — and our people — running at their best.
This is a hands‐on, autonomous role for a fitter who takes pride in getting to the root cause of a fault, not just patching over it.

Daily tasks
Attending to repairs and breakdowns of production machinery in a timely manner




Executing preventative and routine maintenance procedures to improve efficiency and reliability
Liaising with the production team to effectively plan and prioritise work to accommodate production requirements and available resources
Assisting in developing and introducing maintenance programs to support all internal stakeholders
Working autonomously and within a team environment
Upholding safety to the highest degree, for yourself and your colleagues
Sustaining and driving quality solutions in an HACCP environment
Actively seeking opportunities to improve operations performance, system reliability, and reduce overall downtime
Planning and designing projects for current installations and equipment modification and redesign
Ensuring the execution of safety standards and quality assurance practices in all repairs and maintenance activities
Identifying and escalating Animal Welfare, Food Safety & Quality issues
What you'll bring
Experience servicing, repairing, and maintaining equipment including automated machinery, conveyors, and more, in an industrial manufacturing environment — preferably primary food processing or food and beverage
Experience with gear-driven systems and conveyor belts
Fault‐finding experience across hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
A demonstrated commitment to occupational health and safety practices
Basic fabrication skills
Experience in both breakdown and preventive maintenance
Sound interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders
Strong attention to detail and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to multitask
Experience with Maximo or similar CMMS (advantageous, not essential)
The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
