About the role
The Authority isseekingto appoint anAssistantProjectOfficertoundertakea range of research, analysis, reportingand administrative activities to ensureourAdaptation andResilience projects are executed efficiently and contribute positively to the recovery and development of NSW communities.
Providea range of project management and support services, including meeting coordination and the preparation of discussion papers,briefsand submissions, to contribute to the development and delivery of policy initiatives.
Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committee meetings, and stakeholder consultations to support engagement as well as policy development and implementation.
Support research and collate information for reporting,monitoringand evaluation purposes to contribute to the achievement of policy outcomes.
Update and collate documentation and recordsregardingrelevant issues,policiesand practices to ensure the delivery of projectscomplies withagreed project managementmethodology.
About You
The role requires strong administrative, project, and executive support experience.
You will need proven skills in managing day-to-day operationsincluding purchasing, vendor management, travel bookings, and financial/peoplesupport alongside managing small project tasks, conducting basic research, and tracking risks.
High-level executive coordination is essential.
This includesmanaging senior leadership diaries and meeting governance, from agenda preparation to minute-taking.
Excellent written communication and customer service skills are vital to handle stakeholder inquiries,



draft high-quality reports, and balance competing priorities effectively.
Essential Requirements
Experience in providing support and coordination to senior level management on a broad range of administrative, financial, accounting and HR processes and procedures.
Advanced skills and experience in word processing, correspondence tracking, databases, electronic document management systems and financial budgeting systems, spreadsheets,presentationand electronic communication applications including MS Office software.
