About The Role
An exciting opportunity has been created within the Processing department for a Plant Manager role.
The role is responsible for leading a section of the extensive Operational and Metallurgical teams to ensure safe, reliable, efficient and cost-effective performance of the allocated plant assets.
Talison owns and operates the Greenbushes Lithium Operation (Greenbushes, Site, Mine) including; three (3) crushers, five (5) processing plants and a Centralised Tailings Pumping Station (CTPS).
This current role will provide strategic direction,



leadership and governance over two crushers and two processing plants.
A strong focus on team capability, alignment, cost management, ramp-up, plant recovery and achieving business objectives is essential.
About The Plant
Crusher 2 (CR2) and Crusher 3 (CR3) are both two-stage crushers with a C160 single-toggle jaw and a Nordberg cone crusher in a closed loop with a double deck sizing screen.
The crushing circuits both have an annual capacity of approximately 2.8 mtpa.
Chemical Grade Plant 2 and 3 are of similar design, each has a dedicated crusher (CR2 and CR3) and each processing plant produces a 6.0% Li2O product.
Both plants include high pressure grinding rolls, dense media circuit, four (4) flat bed classifiers, screens, cyclones, flotation circuits, filtration, thickeners, high and low intensity magnetic separators, spirals and wet tables.
Current feed capacity of CGP2 is 2.0 mtpa feed.
CGP3 commenced first-ore commissioning during Q******.
Qualifications And Experience
tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or science
Significant experience commissioning and ramping up complex process plants




a minimum of 15 years relevant experience in similar roles (Superintendent or Manager level)
andexperience in leading large groups of multi-discipline team member
Skills
management of critical risk
ability to demonstrate effective people management skills
preparation of budgets/forecasts and analyse cost variance
understanding of safety regulations and standards
ability to monitor business performance and focus on critical performance gaps
ability to ensure production targets are met
development and implementation of business improvement projects
andhighly developed interpersonal and communication skills
