Job Details We are partnering with a mid-tier national law firm on a Legal Assistant chance within their Insurance Litigation, Health & Regulatory teams based in Brisbane CBD.

You will support Principal Lawyers and a wider team across complex and varied Insurance Litigation, Health and Regulatory matters, working closely with experienced Senior PA in a structured and well-supported team.

The Role
This is a fast-paced Legal Assistant role supporting a Principal and wider team of lawyers.
You will work alongside experienced Legal Assistants in a collaborative team environment Your responsibilities will include:
Managing monthly billing cycles, WIP and pre-bills
Opening current matters and completing conflict checks
Maintaining accurate electronic filing systems
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
Drafting and amending legal correspondence and documents
Liaising with courts and filing documents as required
Preparing briefs and assisting with reporting
About You
Previous experience in a Legal Assistant or legal support role within a law firm
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident managing competing priorities in a busy environment
Strong client service and communication skills
Proactive, reliable and a genuine team player
Comfortable working in a structured, fast-paced legal environment
