As we continue to grow and expand our offerings, we are seeking a talented and experienced Service Manager to oversee our HVAC and electrical operations within the Total Data Centre Services division.
Position Overview:
As the Service Manager for Total Data Centre Services team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the uninterrupted operation of our clients' data centres.
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of HVAC and electrical service delivery, from preventative maintenance, minor installations and emergency repairs.
Your primary objective will be to uphold the highest standards of reliability, efficiency, and safety in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of HVAC technicians and electricians, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the effective delivery of services.
Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop tailored HVAC and electrical solutions that meet their needs.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of HVAC and electrical systems in data centre facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for HVAC and electrical systems,



scheduling regular inspections and servicing to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Respond promptly to client requests and emergencies, coordinating with onsite teams to diagnose and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Monitor system performance through regular testing and analysis, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, implementing appropriate measures to mitigate risks and hazards.
Qualifications:
Trade qualification in mechanical or electrical or a related field.
Proven experience in a service management role within the maintenance industry, with a focus on HVAC and electrical systems.
Strong technical expertise in HVAC and electrical systems, with a deep understanding of design principles, installation practices, and maintenance procedures.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
Project management experience, with the ability to plan, execute, and oversee complex installations and maintenance projects.
