The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Co-Educator to join our team at the Malvern Campus on a part time (Monday to Friday 8:00 - 4:00pm term time only), from the beginning of term 4 until the end of term ******.
As a valued member of our team, you will actively collaborate with our teachers and fellow assistants.
Together, you will focus on creating and implementing a child-centred learning program in an environment that promotes students' growth, development, and overall well-being, tailored to their unique requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design and implementation of teaching activities and strategies based on knowledge of students' physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics to improve student learning
Actively contribute ideas resulting in implementation of a stimulating educational program for students that reflect current research and best practice models in early childhood
Support the ELC teacher in all aspects of the management of student behaviour, and organisation of the centre
Contribute to the developmental records for each individual student, both written and verbal, under the guidance of the teacher
Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviour
R Ole Requirements
Diploma of Early Childhood and Care
Experience with three-, four- and five-year-olds is essential
Current First Aid Certificate Level 2, Anaphylaxis Certificate, and Asthma training
