About The Role
As Course Manager, you will lead the coordination and continuous improvement of vocational education and training programs, including foundation skills and community-based learning initiatives.
Working closely with trainers, students and community stakeholders, you will:
Provide educational leadership and support to training teams
Build and maintain strong partnerships with Aboriginal communities and organisations
Ensure programs are inclusive, culturally responsive and aligned to community needs
Drive student engagement, retention and success
Oversee compliance, quality and continuous improvement
Contribute to innovative program design and delivery
What We're Looking For
You're a collaborative and empathetic leader who:




Has experience in vocational education and training and program management
Is passionate about closing gaps in educational access and outcomes
Demonstrates genuine commitment to working alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
Brings strong communication, relationship‐building and leadership skills
Understands quality frameworks (ASQA) and values high‐quality, compliant delivery
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
Experience leading teams and managing training programs
A strong belief in the potential of every learner
Cultural awareness and the ability to work respectfully across diverse communities
Current Working With Children Check and National Criminal History Check
C Class Driver's Licence
Location:Nowra with travel across the Illawarra Shoalhaven
