Cut Coal Technology operates an AS**** Electrical Overhaul Workshop in Mackay, providing engineering, design, manufacturing, and overhaul services for Underground Switchgear and Hazardous Area Equipment within the mining sector.
We are seeking an experienced AS**** Workshop Electrician to join our skilled team and contribute to our reputation for excellence in electrical overhauls and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and Perform electrical overhauls, repairs, and maintenance on HV and LV power components and associated switchgear.
Supervise and Perform electrical overhaul of Explosion protected equipment
Ensure compliance with AS**** and relevant industry standards.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in mining-related equipment.
Work closely with engineering and management to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety and company policies.
About You:
Electrical trade qualification with relevant industry experience.
Experience working in an AS**** Electrical Overhaul Workshop.
Experience with high-voltage power systems, switchgear, and substations (preffered)
Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
