Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive accounting qualified to join our Finance team.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in core accounting, month-end close activities, reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance.
Exposure to Australian accounting practices and ERP/SAP systems will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and record journal entries, including payroll, amortization, tax, and other recurring journals.
Analyze and maintain accruals and ensure accurate accounting treatment.
Compute income tax and post relevant journal entries.
Review accounts receivable reconciliations, bad debt provisions, and receivable clearing accounts.
Review AP/PO accruals and revenue accruals to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Ensure proper recording, capitalization, and reconciliation of fixed assets.
Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations, including cash, fixed assets, and other key accounts.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Support monthly and quarterly flux analysis and financial variance reporting.
Prepare month-end closing documentation and SOX compliance binders.
Coordinate and provide required information for statutory, tax, internal, and SOX audits.
Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll teams to resolve reconciliation issues.
Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers.
Uphold company policies, controls, compliance standards, and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
CA, CPA, or CMA qualification preferred.
3–5 years of experiencein Core Accounting / General Ledger Accounting.
Experience in monthly and quarterly closing of books of accounts.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
