Your role within the team
The People & Culture Advisor plays a key role in enabling a high-performance culture by delivering proactive support across a broad range of people practices.
This role partners closely with leaders, team members, and the broader P&C; team to provide timely and practical advice, contribute to strategic initiatives, and ensure operational excellence.
With a diverse and dynamic portfolio, the Advisor supports both day‐to‐day operations and longer‐term projects, including policy development, performance management, engagement programs, and change initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:
Provide timely and accurate advice to leaders and team members on P&C; policies, procedures,
and employment legislation
Develop and enhance policies, practices, and processes aligned with organisational and legislative requirements, with a focus on automation, integration, and effectiveness
Partner with allocated work areas to develop and implement People Plans tailored to their needs, addressing challenges and opportunities across relevant P&C; domains
Guide leaders and update procedures regarding team member lifecycle matters
Assist with team member relations matters, including performance management, grievances and disciplinary processes
Contribute to organisational change initiatives by providing P&C; expertise and supporting leaders through transitions
Build trusted and authentic relationships with leaders and team members across the organisation
Support delivery of P&C; cyclical activities, including Talent Reviews and Engagement
Own People policies and SOPs end to end, including tracking, updates, reviews, publication, and acting as a key contact for queries
Use P&C; data and analytics to inform decision-making, identify trends, and support continuous improvement
Provide support and mentorship to the P&C; Coordinator and other team members as required
Support the P&C; team and leaders with invoicing and other ad hoc requests as required
Desired Skills & Experience

To make sure we're setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:
Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and P&C; best practices
Tertiary qualifications or certifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline would be advantageous
Understanding of change management principles
High attention to detail and confidentiality
Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and their application in the workplace
Demonstrated experience in a P&C; generalist role
Experience handling employee relations cases end to end, or with guidance
Proven ability to provide advice and support across the team member lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and team member relations
Familiarity with working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to respectfully and constructively challenge leaders
Familiarity with invoice processing and system entry
