Searson Buck is seeking enthusiastic and reliable people to support the Tasmanian Electoral Commission during the **** Local Government Elections.
We are recruiting a team of Call Centre and Telephone Assisted Voting (TAV) Operators to assist voters and support the delivery of election services across Tasmania.
These are temporary opportunities based in Battery Point and are ideal for people with strong communication skills, attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.
About the roles
You'll be part of a professional team supporting Tasmanians throughout the election period.
Depending on your placement, your responsibilities may include:
Responding to inbound calls and providing election information to members of the public
Assisting voters with Telephone Assisted Voting processes
Verifying information and following established procedures
Accurately entering and recording information across multiple systems
Working from scripts and structured processes
Providing a positive and professional customer experience
Maintaining confidentiality and accuracy at all times
Full training will be provided prior to commencement.
About you
To be successful, you'll have:
Excellent communication and listening skills
Strong attention to detail
Confidence using computers and navigating multiple systems
A friendly and professional telephone manner
The ability to follow instructions and established procedures
Reliability and a strong work ethic
Availability to attend training and work throughout the election period
Previous experience in customer service, contact centres, administration, hospitality, retail or election work will be highly regarded but is not essential.
