Operating as aContracts Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial delivery of the project through the effective administration of subcontract packages.
Working closely with the Project Commercial Manager, Subcontracts Manager and broader project team, you will assist with subcontract formation, contract administration, variations, claims, commercial reporting and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle.
This role offers the opportunity to build your commercial career on one of Australia's largest marine infrastructure projects, working within a high-performing EPC project environment and contributing to successful project delivery.
About the Project
Clough is delivering theDarwin Ship Lift Facilityfor the Northern Territory Government, located in the East Arm precinct at the Port of Darwin.
This major marine infrastructure project will support the maintenance and servicing of Defence, Australian Border Force and commercial vessels.
The scope includes construction of a 5,500-tonne capacity ship lift, wet berths and hardstand areas to enable efficient vessel repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
Administer assigned subcontract packages in accordance with project requirements and Clough Operating Standards
Support tendering, evaluation, negotiation and award processes for subcontractors and suppliers
Assist with the development and implementation of subcontracting strategies
Review and process subcontractor progress claims and payment assessments
Assist with the preparation and administration of variations, claims and extensions of time
Monitor subcontract performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
Support project forecasting, budgeting and cost control activities
Provide commercial and contractual support to project stakeholders
Participate in risk and opportunity reviews related to assigned subcontract packages
Assist in the management and resolution of subcontractor commercial issues and claims
Maintain positive working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Law,



Economics or a related discipline preferred
Minimum 3 years' experience in a Contracts Administrator, Contracts Advisor, Commercial Advisor or similar role
Experience within engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), infrastructure, resources or major construction projects
Demonstrated experience administering subcontractor and supplier contracts
Sound understanding of contract administration, claims, variations and commercial processes
Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project environment
