Job Description
CTI Xpress Systems is a transport business with its office located in Welshpool, Perth, offering a range of services to a diverse group of customers throughout Australia.
CTI Xpress Systems is looking for a full time accountant with minimum of 1-2 years experience with data analysis skills.
The role requires a level of management accounting skills with commercial acumen and ability to apply analytical skills to problem solving.
The position will report directly to the General Manager and will have the support of a finance team that works across the CTI Logistics Group.
The role will include or require the following:
A focus on revenue capture and margin improvement.
Cost and margin analysis in order to assist management in making informed decisions.
Streamline business processes.
Data analysis and reporting.
KPI reporting and benchmarking.
Customer rate table analysis and review.
Produce management and operational reports with analysis and insights.
Supporting staff in the use and configuration of software, systems and procedures to operational advantage.
Qualifications
To be considered you should have the following:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in a business related discipline.
Minimum 1-2 years working within a finance,



accounting or related field.
Strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills.
Experience in preparing budgets
Background understanding of financial systems and processes.
Experience in transport and logistics and software associated within those industries.
Working experience with snowflake database and Power BI
Demonstrated experience in reviewing systems and procedures to identify efficiencies.
Ensuring business practices adhere to internal controls.
Moderate to Advanced skills in Microsoft packages, primarily Excel and Power BI.
Technical and analytical skills with the ability to maintain, troubleshoot and support software.
Experience required in Able and Accume financial systems.
Preparation and review of month end financial accounts.
Troubleshooting financial discrepancies.
Analysing and evaluating costs against operational activities.
General overview and maintenance of financial systems.
Ensuring business practices adhere to internal controls.
