What You'll Be Doing
Define and evolve the technical architecture for core products, platforms and systems.
Design secure, scalable and resilient solutions across cloud, data, application and platform infrastructure.
Translate complex business requirements into clear, practical and future-focused technical solutions.
Lead architectural decision‐making, balancing scalability, performance, security, reliability and commercial needs.
Partner closely with engineering teams to guide solution design and ensure architectural decisions translate effectively into delivery.
Lead architecture reviews, identify technical risks and develop pragmatic mitigation strategies.
Drive system optimisation, scalability planning and performance benchmarking.




Establish and champion architectural best practices, design patterns and documentation standards.
Influence technical strategy and provide architectural leadership across complex initiatives.
What You'll Bring
Significant experience designing and delivering complex, enterprise‐scale software solutions.
Strong hands‐on technical expertise across AWS, Azure or GCP, with a deep understanding of modern cloud architecture.
Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, containerisation, distributed systems and DevOps practices.
Experience designing highly available, secure and scalable systems in complex technical environments.
Strong capability in architecture modelling, including UML, sequence diagrams and complex data models.
A strong understanding of secure system design; experience with payments, transaction platforms or cryptographic key management would be highly regarded.
The ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and influence both technical and non‐technical stakeholders.
A pragmatic, collaborative approach with the ability to balance technical excellence with business outcomes.
Relevant cloud or architecture certifications, such as TOGAF, are advantageous but not essential.
