An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Payroll Consultant to join their collaborative team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on payroll expertise with advisory, systems, and project work in a varied consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on the client and the project, your week could span across four diverse pillars:
Your responsibilities may include:
Managing complex end-to-end payroll processing with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and service delivery.
Supporting or leading payroll and HRIS implementations, upgrades, testing, and go-live activities.
Conducting payroll compliance reviews, identifying risks, and recommending practical improvements.
Advising clients on payroll governance, controls, legislation, and best practice.
Building strong client relationships while delivering practical solutions and exceptional service.
Supporting process improvements while coaching and transferring knowledge to client teams.
About You
5+ years' experience managing end-to-end Australian payroll at a senior/management level.
Solid knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Awards, Enterprise Agreements, superannuation, and payroll compliance.
Experience with Tier 1 payroll or HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Dayforce, or similar.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify process improvements.
Strong communication skills with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities across different client environments.
A client-focused, solutions-driven approach with the ability to build trusted relationships and adapt across different project environments.
