We're seeking a strategic and commercially mindedNational Workforce Planning Managerto lead the transformation of our workforce planning capability across a complex, multi-site national operation.
This newly created leadership role offers a unique opportunity to design and build a best-practice workforce planning function, driving workforce optimisation, operational readiness and long-term capability planning across Australia.
About the Role
Reporting to theHead of ER/IR, you will lead the evolution of our current rostering and staffing services model into a centralised, end-to-end Workforce Planning function.
You'll oversee workforce forecasting, capacity planning, scheduling, workforce analytics and workforce optimisation to ensure InvoCare has the right people, with the right skills, in the right place, at the right time.
This role combines strategy, transformation, analytics, and operational leadership, partnering closely with executives and operational leaders to deliver workforce plans that support sustainable growth, compliance and exceptional service outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop and implement a national workforce planning framework aligned to business strategy.
Lead workforce forecasting, modelling, and scenario planning to support future workforce requirements.
Build and deliver workforce optimisation strategies that improve operational performance and labour efficiency.
Transform and lead a Workforce Planning team, including management of the Time & Attendance function.
Use workforce analytics and reporting to provide actionable insights and influence executive decision-making.
Partner with Operations, Technology, Transformation and People & Culture teams to integrate organisational change into workforce plans.
Drive continuous improvement across forecasting accuracy, scheduling, workforce governance, and operational effectiveness.
Act as the functional owner of workforce management systems and workforce planning processes.
About You
You are a strategic workforce planning leader with a passion for solving complex operational challenges through data, technology, and people.
You'll bring:
10+ years' experience in workforce planning, workforce management, or operational leadership
Proven experience leading large-scale workforce optimisation and transformation initiatives
Expertise in forecasting, capacity planning, scheduling, and workforce analytics
Strong commercial acumen and ability to balance workforce, customer, and business outcomes
Advanced stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across executive and operational levels
Experience working within complex, multi-site or highly regulated environments
Exposure to workforce management systems such as Humanforce, Kronos or similar platforms
A track record of driving change, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
