Job Description
The Trustee for SSA BALAJI TRUST As a Painter at S.S.A Building & Solutions, you will be responsible for preparing and painting interior and exterior surfaces with a quality finish.
Attention to detail is essential to deliver all projects to a professional standard.
Benefits Market-competitive salary and great work culture Task & responsibilities Prepare interior and exterior surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching damaged areas, applying fillers and primers, and ensuring surfaces are ready for painting in accordance with project specifications.
Mix and match paints to achieve required colours and finishes.
Apply premium paint systems and protective coatings using brushes, rollers and airless spray equipment.
Interior and exterior painting on residential and commercial buildings.
Working safely on active construction and maintenance sites.
Follow site safety procedures and compliance requirements.
Erect and work safely from ladders and scaffolding where required.
Protect surrounding areas with drop sheets and masking materials.
Keep work areas clean, safe and organized.
Read project specifications and determine paint and material requirements.
Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to meet project deadlines.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality is maintained and carry out touch-ups where necessary.




Clean and maintain painting tools, equipment and work areas.
Store leftover paint in the appropriate locations and dispose of waste properly.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualification & experience Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent AQF qualification.
At least one year of relevant painting experience.
Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and coating products.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions and specifications.
Good attention to detail and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical requirements: ability to lift painting equipment and materials; comfortable working at heights, on ladders and scaffolding; ability to stand, bend and perform repetitive manual tasks for extended periods.
