We are seeking an experienced and drivenNew Car Managerto lead our successfulSouthgate GWMdealership.
Reporting directly to theGeneral Manager, this is an outstanding prospect for a proven automotive leader to take ownership of a growing franchise with the support, resources and career opportunities that come from being part of a progressive dealership group.
About the Role
As the New Car Manager, you will be responsible for leading the new vehicle department, driving sales performance, developing your team and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
You will work closely with the General Manager to achieve dealership objectives while creating a positive, high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and develop the New Vehicle Sales Team.
Drive new vehicle sales performance and profitability.
Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales targets and KPIs.
Coach and motivate staff through regular training and performance management.
Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction throughout the sales journey.




Manage stock levels and work closely with manufacturers on vehicle allocation.
Work collaboratively with Finance & Insurance, Aftercare and Service departments.
Recruit, train and retain high-performing sales professionals.
Maintain compliance with dealership processes and manufacturer standards.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience as a New Car Manager, Sales Manager or Senior Sales Leader within the automotive industry.
A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Exceptional leadership and people development skills.
Strong negotiation and closing ability.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering results.
High levels of professionalism, integrity and accountability.
