Overview
Reporting to the Head of Partner Relationships, the Portfolio Governance Manager will lead the uplift, implementation and ongoing management of governance frameworks across key insurer and strategic partner relationships, and new product categories.
Working closely with Senior Portfolio Managers, the successful candidate will play a central role in strengthening operational and regulatory governance across different product categories, ensuring partner obligations, controls and compliance requirements are effectively documented, monitored and embedded into day-to-day operations.
This role will also drive continuous improvement across partnership processes, controls and systems, including the review and uplift of partner obligations, oversight on delegated responsibilities and broader team documentation and record-keeping practices.
Responsibilities
Lead the uplift, implementation and ongoing management of governance frameworks across insurer and strategic partner relationships and new product categories.
Collaborate with Senior Portfolio Managers to strengthen operational and regulatory governance, ensuring partner obligations, controls and compliance requirements are documented, monitored and embedded into day-to-day operations.
Drive continuous improvement across partnership processes, controls and systems, including reviewing and uplifting partner obligations and oversight on delegated responsibilities and team documentation.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in governance, risk, compliance, regulatory affairs, operations, or partner management within financial services, insurance, or a regulated industry.
Strong understanding of regulatory,



governance frameworks and risk management principles – preferable in insurance industry.
Experience in managing partner/vendor contractual obligations.
Strong understanding of insurance products and regulatory environments in Australia and Current Zealand.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence stakeholders, and manage a program of work.
Experience with performance reporting and data analysis, using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Excellent communication, problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.
Strong project management and process improvement capability.
