About the role
You will be part of a team of Workday implementation experts who deliver more than just technology, you will deliver Workday Finance solutions that help organisations realise the power of integrated, cloud‐based capabilities that put them on the fast track to a better way to work.
As a Workday Finance Consultant you should expect to play a role in the deployment of Workday Finance with a focus on the Procurement Modules for Workday implementation effort.
Key Responsibilities
Work with functional leads to conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyse business requirements.
Provide support in helping clients making key business process decisions.
Help clients configure industry standards within the Workday Finance solution and provide suggestions to achieve clean configuration and streamlined processes.
Design and implement requirements in the Workday Finance Procurement solution.
Demonstrate configurations through prototyping.
Understand Workday's Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements.
Provide the Project Manager with status reports and keep them apprised of overall project status.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project scope and define requirements.
Work with clients to share Accenture and Workday best practices.
Participate in Workday certification and update training and other events that help share one's product skills with other consultants.
Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and systems.
Coordinate the implementation of solutions and support change management efforts.
Your skills and Qualifications
At least 2 years of Workday Finance consulting experience
Strong understanding of the Workday Finance Procurement Module
Successfully completed or assisted with at least 1-2 end-to-end Finance implementations
Advanced proficiency in Procurement Management.
Advanced proficiency in Workday Financial Accounting Core.
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in relevant related skills.
Ability to collaborate with cross‐functional teams to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
Existing and current Workday Finance Certification
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of studies or equivalent experience.
Additional preferred attributes
Ability and willingness to work in the Accenture or client site
Experience with pre‐sale and sales activities would be highly regarded
Advanced Procure-to-Pay.
Advanced Procurement Strategy and Planning.
Advanced Procurement Support.
Intermediate Contract Negotiation.
Intermediate Supplier Relationship Management.
Mandatory Requirements
Australian Citizenship with current or ability to gain Baseline Security Clearance
