Your role
You will be a part of the Funds, Superannuation & Financial Services (FSF) team at Allens, working closely with lawyers across all offices.
You will advise clients on complex transactions that include private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, renewable energy, real estate and private credit.
Responsibilities
Advise blue‐chip Australian and international fund sponsors on the establishment of widely held funds, funds‐of‐one, co‐investment vehicles, continuation funds, capital partnerships and IMAs.
Advise leading Australian and global institutional and sovereign investors on their Australian and offshore fund investments, co‐investments and direct investments.
Provide advice across a range of traditional and emerging asset classes, including direct and indirect investments.
Advise on fund secondary sale transactions.
Assist with the funds‐related aspects of M&A; matters.
Assist sponsors, superannuation funds and other investors with regulatory and compliance issues associated with their activities, including financial services licensing.
Qualifications
Experience in transaction work in funds, superannuation or financial services, ideally at a leading top‐tier, national or international firm or in‐house team.
Offshore experience is welcomed but not essential.
A passion for specialising in investment funds.
Specific experience in fund establishment and/or fund investments work, including advising a range of clients on transactions.
Background in M&A; with experience in funds‐related transactions and matters, including REIT and infrastructure sectors.
Excellent academic record.
A desire to learn, grow, network and mentor others.
