Every shipment that moves through our platform starts with a deal someone closed.
We're looking for a Business Development Manager who wants to be that someone - hunting recent business, running the full sales cycle, and building the partnerships that shape where MachShip goes next.
What you'll do:
Prospect, qualify and close new business end to end - no handoffs, you own the deal
Run discovery sessions that get to what's really costing customers time and money
Deliver demos and proposals that make the value obvious
Build strategic partnerships and channel relationships beyond direct sales
Work closely with Product, Customer Success and Ops so closed deals become customers who stick around.
What you'll bring:
5+ years B2B SaaS or enterprise software sales experience
A track record of hitting or beating quota, ideally selling FMS, TMS, ERP, OMS, WMS or supply chain/logistics SaaS
Comfort running complex,



multi-stakeholder sales cycles for $20k-$250k+ ARR deals
A consultative, value-first sales style, not a transactional one
The confidence to talk to C-level execs and operations leaders as equals
Direct FMS experience is our top priority, followed by TMS, ERP, OMS or broader supply chain software.
Bonus points for an existing network across Australian logistics, transport, retail, manufacturing or 3PL, and familiarity with integrations, APIs and enterprise software ecosystems.
