Based at our Head Office in Ringwood, with hybrid work conditions on offer
$85,000 - $92,000 p.a. + 12% Super + Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550
We're on the lookout for a naturally curious and driven payroll professional who enjoys problem-solving, exploring new possibilities, and contributing ideas that improve the way we work.
In this role, you'll help deliver accurate, compliant and timely payroll services, address payroll queries, and collaborate with People & Culture (P&C;) to look at continuous improvement processes.
You'll also assist with reporting and audits, stay up to date with payroll-related legislation, and help strengthen the systems and processes that enable our teams to focus on delivering great care to communities.
Key responsibilities:
Providing accurate and compliant payroll services
Supporting the fortnightly pay cycle and wage increases based on multiple industrial instruments
Support and educate P&C; & the business with payroll-related queries
Ensuring data integrity through regular audits
Assisting with relevant reporting, such as Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), Workplace Gender Equity (WGEA), Portable Long Service Leave (PLSL) submissions and year-end processing
About you
You bring:
Experience working in payroll administration or payroll processing
Knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation and superannuation requirements
Strong systems and software skills, with experience using payroll and time and attendance systems
High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
The ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
What makes you stand out
Experience working in large organisations or within the Community Health/Not-For-Profit sector
Qualification in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or Payroll Administration
Experience with Dayforce or similar payroll systems
