The Opportunity & How You Will Make An Impact
As Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you'll play a key role in helping Urbis make smarter, more informed business decisions.
Partnering with Business Unit Leaders, Commercial Managers and the Executive Leadership Team, you'll deliver the insights and commercial guidance that drive business performance.

You'll help leaders navigate complex decisions, identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and turn financial and operational data into meaningful business outcomes.

We're looking for someone who brings fresh thinking, commercial curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset.
Based in Melbourne or Sydney, we're open to considering flexible working arrangements, including part-time and nine-day fortnight options, for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Business Unit Leaders, Commercial Managers and senior stakeholders to provide commercial insights that drive decision-making and business performance.
Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes across the organisation.
Deliver meaningful analysis that identifies trends, opportunities and risks, enabling proactive business decisions.
Develop and enhance reporting, business intelligence and performance measurement capabilities.
Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and ways of working.
Provide oversight of key finance systems and business processes, ensuring they continue to support evolving business needs.
Support Executive Leadership and Board reporting through clear, concise and commercially focused insights.
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration,



accountability and continuous improvement.
About You
8+ years' experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, commercial finance or business partnering roles within a complex organisation.
An exceptional communicator who can translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.
A proactive and curious mindset, with a track record of identifying opportunities, challenging thinking and driving improvement.
Experience working within a skilled services, consulting or similar project-based environment will be highly regarded.
Strong understanding of finance systems, reporting platforms and business intelligence tools, with the ability to leverage insights to improve business performance.
CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
