About The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity available for an enthusiastic
Project Accountant
at our QCoal Northern Hub Project, located in Collinsville.
Working on a 5/2 roster you will report to project Finance Business Partner and work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.
Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Ensure timely completion of EOM deliverables and reports
Facilitate monthly cost reviews including analysis of key variances to budget
The key contributor to cost build ups for the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
Drive financial awareness across the site and ensure financial practices are in line with company policy
Ensure financial risks are identified at an early stage
Communicating effectively with internal and external key personnel and stakeholders
About You
As a successful applicant, you'll be a high-achieving team-focused individual who enjoys delivering results in a dynamic environment. Your exceptional relationship-building skills coupled with your ability to engage and collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders will also ensure your success in this role.
CPA or CA qualified (or in progress)
Relevant years of post-qualification experience – mining or heavy industry experience would be highly regarded
Previous JDE experience highly regarded
Proficient in MS Office, strong emphasis on Excel
Excellent time management and organisational skills with high attention to detail




Ability to work to tight deadlines and multi-task as required
Drive safety, culture, and productivity in a team environment
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence across the site
