About the Role
Support Workers help people with disability to live meaningful lives, supporting decision-making, goal setting and everyday tasks such as mealtimes, personal care and medication.
Work may involve activities like art, cooking, gardening, yoga, gym and sales of art.
The role is based across the Lifestyles Program including day centre, outreach and individualized support in Allambie and surrounding Northern Beaches areas.
The program runs a day shift 9:30am-3:30pm.
Responsibilities
Support clients to live meaningful lives and make independent decisions.
Assist with mealtimes, personal care and medication.
Engage clients in creative, recreational and health activities (e.g., art, cooking, gardening, yoga, gym).
Maintain activity records and alert relevant staff of changes in client health or behaviour.
Attend training and career development as required.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3‐4 days per week availability.
Hours 9:30am‐3:30pm.
Valid NSW driver's licence (P2 or full).




Physical ability to assist clients with varying physical needs.
Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills.
Willingness to undertake a safety assessment and COVID‐19 vaccination.
