Key duties and responsibilities
Duties may include some or all of the following:
provide expert advice to technical specialists and stakeholders and seek their cooperation in the provision of database administration.
schedule and manage database software installations and upgrades to maintain currency with supported environments.
administer the database configuration, security, scheme and objects, ensuring compliance against agreed standards and guidelines.
lead and authorise the implementation of access controls to secure databases from unauthorised access and use.
manage the data management process including initial loading, creating,
maintaining, and distributing data.
implement corrective actions to improve performance and availability of databases.
recovery activities and cyclical disaster recovery exercises.
1.Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining multiple integrated non-production environments.
1.Demonstrated experience working in a containerised Linux environment.
2.Knowledge of M204 and SOUL.
3.Demonstrated experience delivering complex changes in a fast-paced workplace.
4.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
