We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer / Azure DevOpsfor a leading IT consulting client in Sydney.
This role will play a critical role in supporting the Cloud practice development and will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex cloud-based solutions for our clients, including leading banks, ASX-listed companies, and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Design,implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure solutions
Developautomation scripts and tools to streamline processes and improveefficiency
Collaboratewith clients to understand their business requirements and developcustomized solutions
Providetechnical guidance and support to project teams
Provideexpertise in DevOps methodologies and best practices, including CI/CDpipelines, infrastructure as code, and automation.
Participatein the design and development of cloud-based solutions, working closelywith other teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements and businessobjectives.
Manage,monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability andscalability.
Collaboratewith stakeholders to ensure that cloud solutions are designed withsecurity, reliability, and scalability in mind.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends andadvancements in cloud technology




Requirements
Bachelor'sdegree in Computer Science or a related field
Atleast 5 years of experience in cloud engineering and DevOps
Expertisein Azure cloud infrastructure, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
Experiencewith automation tools such as PowerShell, Terraform, and Ansible
Strongunderstanding of networking, security, and identity management in thecloud
Knowledgeof containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experiencewith CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration and delivery.
Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to workeffectively in a team environment.
Abilityto work in a fast-paced and energetic environment, with a strong focus ondelivering results.
