We are seeking a Senior Structural Drafter to take ownership of documentation delivery on complex projects and help elevate our drafting capability across the business, based in our North Sydney office. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Structural Engineer – Team Lead. This person will be responsible for leading the documentation of complex structural engineering projects across sectors such as commercial, industrial, residential, and infrastructure.
The role:
Lead the delivery of structural documentation packages from concept through to IFC, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and consistency.
Act as the primary drafting lead on projects, coordinating with engineers to resolve design and constructability challenges.
Review and check drawings and models produced by junior drafters, maintaining high technical and presentation standards.
Mentor and develop junior team members, contributing to capability uplift across the drafting team.
Drive continuous improvement in drafting workflows, templates and Revit standards.
Coordinate with architects,



services consultants and contractors to ensure fully integrated project delivery.
5-10 years of professional experience (inclusive of any apprenticeship or traineeship) in civil/structural drafting, ideally within a consulting setting.
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (essential) and Revit, with proven experience delivering large and complex projects through to IFC.
Demonstrated experience documenting a range of structural systems, including reinforced concrete, structural steel, retaining structures and civil infrastructure (e.g. bridges and culverts).
Experience with relevant Australian Standards, Industry Design Guidelines.
Comfortable working across multi-disciplinary teams, contributing to coordinated and buildable outcomes.
Proven ability to deliver IFC documentation packages independently with minimal supervision.
