We are seeking a
Clinical Nurse Specialist
to join the
Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team (CATT)
based within the Adult Community Mental Health Service. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team supporting individuals experiencing acute mental health crises across the North West region.
About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will provide advanced clinical expertise and leadership in the assessment, treatment and management of consumers presenting with complex mental health needs. Working within a community-based crisis service, you will deliver comprehensive assessments, crisis intervention, clinical risk management and recovery-focused care.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting specialist mental health assessments and triage services.
Providing crisis intervention and evidence-based treatment recommendations.
Supporting consumers, families and carers throughout the recovery journey.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, community organisations and health services.
Contributing expert clinical advice and guidance to nursing, medical and allied health professionals.
Promoting person-centred, trauma-informed and recovery-oriented care.

About You
To be successful, you will have:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA or eligibility for AHPRA
Specialist Mental Health/Psychiatric Nursing qualifications or equivalent recognised experience.
Demonstrated clinical experience withincommunity mental health services.
Robust assessment, risk management and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
A commitment to trauma-informed and recovery-focused practice.
Current driver's licence.

$109,767 - $115,813 pro rata + Super
