Unit Description
The Royal Melbourne Hospital is one of two level-one trauma centres in Victoria and deals with large volumes of pelvic and acetabular fractures. The department is situated on the 7th Floor of RMH along with the department of Rheumatology forming a department of Musculoskeletal Clinical Care and Research. There is a dedicated office with access to modern computers and the internet. A departmental library is also provided.

This position provides surgical experience and patient management opportunities ideal for candidates attempting to enter the surgical program. About You
Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)



or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (for international Medical Graduates)
MBBS or equivalent tertiary qualifications
Previous experience in Orthopaedic Surgery
Previous experience in a major Trauma Centre
Ability to work in a team
Well-developed communication and presentation skills.
