We at Coforge are hiring Automation Test Engineer with the following skillset:
Design, develop, and maintain robust
test automation frameworks
using
Playwright and Karate
Develop end-to-end, API, and UI automation test suites
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QE teams to ensure quality across releases
Drive
shift-left testing
, CI/CD integration, and automation best practices
Analyse test results, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution
Contribute to test strategy, estimation, and planning activities
Mandatory Skills
Strong hands-on experience in
Playwright (UI automation)
Solid experience in
Karate framework (API automation)
Experience with
CI/CD tools
(Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
Positive understanding of
REST APIs
, microservices, and test design techniques
Experience with version control (Git)
Valuable to Have
Experience in
Retail domain
(highly preferred)
Exposure to
BDD frameworks
and tools
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
