About the role
We are looking for a Lead Application Developer to join our team in Sydney.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a small team of developers, providing technical guidance and oversight.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
Design, develop, and implement application enhancements and current features.
Produce high-quality, maintainable, and secure code aligned with project requirements.
Conduct code reviews and promote development best practices.
Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate technical solutions.
Execute and oversee unit, system, and integration testing activities.
Analyse test outcomes and resolve defects and performance issues.
Support application maintenance activities, including incident resolution and defect remediation.
Contribute to technical documentation for users, developers, and support teams.
Ensure compliance with engineering, quality, security, and project management standards.
Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Manage customer expectations and provide exceptional service delivery.
Drive continuous improvement of applications, development processes, and support services.
Support project planning, estimation,



prioritisation, and technical decision‐making.
