Think Water Darwin is the Top End's premier provider of pumping, irrigation, filtration, and water management solutions. Operating out of our high-capacity facility in Coolalinga, we service commercial, trade, agricultural, mining, and residential clients across the Northern Territory.
Due to strong business growth, we are seeking an experienced, hands-on
Technical Sales & Showroom Manager
to take ownership of our front counter operations, manage showroom standards, and lead our sales team.
About the Role
This is a pivotal leadership position where your technical expertise and customer-first mindset will directly drive daily operations. You will act as the technical anchor for walk-in and phone clients while maintaining high standards for showroom presentation, stock layout, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
Front Counter Leadership:
Oversee daily counter operations, delivering exceptional face-to-face and phone support to trade, retail, and industrial customers.
Technical Problem Solving:
Help clients select and configure the right pumping, filtration, and irrigation systems for their specific requirements or assist them with product/part replacements.
Showroom Management:
Ensure high standards of merchandising, stock display,



organisation, and inventory layout across the floor.
Team Development:
Mentor, train, and guide counter staff to build product knowledge, technical capability, and service confidence.
What We're Looking For
10+ years of technical experience
across pumping, irrigation, filtration, or water treatment systems.
Proven leadership capability
with a hands-on, proactive approach to running showroom floors and guiding counter teams.
Exceptional communication skills
to quickly diagnose technical issues over the counter or via phone.
Solid organisational skills
with high attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
