Position:Head of Learning and Teaching - Secondary
Organisational Relationship:Responsible to the Principal
This position is a senior leadership role with the responsibility of leading all aspects of learning and teaching across the secondary school.
Lakeside College is a Christian school in the Lutheran tradition and has a reputation for academic and pastoral excellence.
Candidates will be expected to demonstrate strong Christian values and to have held significant leadership positions.
The Head of Learning and Teaching Secondary will be an innovative educator, who collaborates well with others and enjoys being part of a dynamic and progressive team of educational leaders.
Classification:Lutheran Education Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania Multi-Enterprise Agreement **** and the National Employment Standards.
Lakeside College is a Prep to 12 co-educational Christian school in the Lutheran tradition.

Key Selection Criteria
An active Christian faith and willingness to uphold the ethos of the Lutheran Church of Australia
Evidence of capacity to contribute to, and uphold, the positive Lakeside College staff culture
Ability to select and use a wide range of contemporary teaching and assessment strategies to suit the needs of a diverse range of students in line with the College teaching and learning philosophy
Best practice in curriculum development and implementation, evaluation and assessment and management of teaching and learning activities
Capacity to reflect critically upon their qualified practice
Highly developed ability to establish and develop positive and constructive relationships with students, staff, parents and members of the wider community
Commitment and capacity to actively contribute to a broad range of school activities as a member of the College team
Demonstrated ability to uphold a Childsafe culture
