The Commercial team is data, product and trend orientated. Customer‐obsessed and commercially driven, the team curates a customer‐first platform by partnering closely with Planning to drive sales, maximise profit, manage intake and deliver forward‐thinking product ranges.
We're on the hunt for an experienced and passionate Established Category Buyer – Women's Mainstream to join our dynamic Commercial team.
In this exciting role, you'll play a pivotal part in shaping the women's fashion category, curating a selection that reflects the latest trends and meets the evolving needs of customers. About the Role
Understand and drive company‐wide strategies and OKRs.
Conduct market research to stay across emerging trends and recommend products and brands.
Monitor inventory levels to maintain appropriate stock availability.
Evaluate vendor performance and support vendor onboarding and off‐boarding processes.
Negotiate favourable commercial terms with wholesale and marketplace vendors.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and industry regulations.
Identify emerging trends and source new products that resonate with customers.
Maintain accurate vendor records, including brand plans, SKU lists and category documentation.
Identify opportunities to improve the onsite customer experience.
Analyse data, interpret trends and make commercially informed recommendations.
Identify cost‐saving opportunities and recommend procurement and platform strategies.
Build and maintain robust supplier relationships to achieve mutual commercial outcomes.
Collaborate with key brands to develop compelling product assortments.
Manage underperforming brands and recommend improvement strategies.
Review contract terms and ensure compliance with agreed conditions.
Partner with Marketing to identify go‐to‐market and promotional opportunities.
Develop strategic category roadmaps aligned with commercial objectives and customer segments.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Marketing, Vendor Management, Operations and Finance.
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
Adapt quickly to changing market conditions and business priorities.
Support additional projects and responsibilities as required.
About You
Previous experience as a Buyer in a high‐volume retail or e‐commerce environment.
Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
Effective time management and organisational skills.
Collaborative team player.
Passion for women's fashion.
