At Grow Accounting, we're looking for a Tax Accountant with
6+ years' Australian public practice experience
who enjoys building strong client relationships, takes pride in producing quality work and wants to be part of a supportive, contemporary accounting firm.
We're looking for someone who can confidently manage their own client portfolio, enjoys solving problems and genuinely cares about delivering an outstanding client experience. You'll work independently while having the support of an experienced team whenever complex issues arise.

The role
You'll manage your own client portfolio while continuing to develop your technical knowledge and advisory skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing practical tax advice and helping clients navigate day-to-day business matters
Assisting with tax planning and business advisory work
Collaborating with our technical team on more complex tax matters when required




Working with Xero and other cloud accounting software
Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for family groups that individuals, companies and trusts
Preparing BAS and Management Reports
You'll also be supported by a dedicated administration and compliance team, allowing you to spend more time doing what you do best - looking after your clients.
About you
You'll have:
6+ years' Australian public practice experience
Experience preparing financial statements and income tax returns across a range of entity types
Solid knowledge of Australian taxation legislation
Experience using Xero and cloud accounting software
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
The confidence to manage your own client relationships
A positive attitude and genuine desire to continue learning and developing
