Looking to start or grow your career in Orthopaedic and Trauma Nursing? Royal North Shore Hospital's 5 East Orthopaedic/Trauma Ward is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to join the team in a temporary part-time position.
5 East is a 30-bed Orthopaedic and Trauma ward comprising 28 single rooms. The ward cares for patients undergoing both elective orthopaedic procedures and acute trauma surgery. We have a supportive team environment, a strong skill mix, and a focus on delivering protected, high-quality patient care.
As an Assistant in Nursing, you will work as part of the multidisciplinary team to support nurses in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. You will assist with activities of daily living, patient observations, mobility and rehabilitation, contributing to positive patient outcomes in a busy and rewarding clinical environment.

Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria
Currently enrolled in second or third year of a Bachelor of Nursing or degree deemed appropriate; or current enrolment in Diploma of Nursing (HLT*****) with evidence of completion of Block 1; or completion of HLT***** Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care).
Demonstrated, effective written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team.
