About The Role:
AtStay Queensland, we proudly support a growing number of Queensland hotels and resorts by handling inbound bookings and enquiries.
As aHotel Reservations Supervisor, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional service, helping guests plan and book their holidays, while overseeing the team and ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced reservations or customer service superstar.
This is a full time or part-time role withweekend availability essentialas a rostered requirement of the position.
What You'll Be Doing:
Managing reservations via phone, email, and online
Processing payments and updating bookings in our system
Handling enquiries, cancellations, and booking changes with ease
Assisting groups, corporate clients, and travel agents with their bookings
Crafting tailored quotes to meet clients' needs
Upselling rooms and services to enhance the guest experience
Providing support at reception and addressing guest queries
Leading and motivating the team to create a positive, productive environment
What We're Looking For:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A confident, friendly, and professional phone manner
A positive attitude with a "can-do" approach and a collaborative mindset
Excellent grooming and presentation
Quick to learn new systems and processes
Prior experience in the travel industry or a similar role (experience with REI Master is highly advantageous)
