About The Role
Nordex is seeking an experienced Planner to support the successful delivery of renewable energy projects across Australia.
This role is responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring project schedules, ensuring projects are delivered in line with key milestones, timelines and business objectives.
Working closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Procurement and Site teams, the Planner will provide accurate scheduling, progress reporting and project controls throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
Monitor project progress, identify schedule risks and delays, and provide accurate forecasting and recovery plans where required.
Support tendering and project execution through the preparation of planning schedules and programme updates.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering, Procurement and Site teams to ensure integrated project planning and scheduling.
Track critical path activities, project milestones and key deliverables to support successful project outcomes.
Prepare and present regular planning reports, schedule updates and performance metrics for internal stakeholders.
Ensure planning processes, schedules and reporting comply with company standards and project requirements.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning tools,
methodologies and project controls practices.
About You
A minimum of 5 years' experience in planning, scheduling or project controls within engineering, construction, renewable energy, infrastructure or another project-based environment.
Robust proficiency in Primavera P6, with demonstrated experience developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress and forecasting project outcomes.
A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.
Relevant planning, scheduling or project controls certifications (desirable).
Experience within the renewable energy sector and/or working in an international matrix organisation (highly regarded).
Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and identify project risks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across cross‐functional teams.
