DFP Recruitment is seeking an experiencedContact Centre Consultantto join a busyGovernment Response Centrebased inToowoomba.

About the Role
As aContact Centre Consultantyou will play a key role in supporting the Centre by managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, coordinating service requests, and providing exceptional customer service to clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls in a busy call centre setting.
Provide professional and timely customer service to a diverse range of stakeholders.
Accurately record and update information across multiple computer systems.
Prioritise and coordinate competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and colleagues to ensure service delivery outcomes are achieved.
Resolve customer enquiries and issues with professionalism and efficiency.
Maintain accurate records and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
Contribute positively to team goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Proven experience managing high-volume inbound and outbound calls within a call centre environment.




Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using multiple computer systems simultaneously.
Strong relationship-building skills with clients, contractors, and colleagues.
Effective problem-solving and decision‐making abilities.
The ability to remain calm, professional, and resilient during challenging conversations.
A commitment to teamwork, accountability, and delivering quality outcomes.
