Volleyball South Australia is seeking an organised, proactive and community-minded Development and Administration Coordinator to support the delivery and growth of the volleyball pathway, school and representative programs across South Australia.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Performance Pathways, the Development and Administration Coordinator provides administration support across Volleyball SA's Performance Pathways department.
The role has a strong focus on performance pathways, State Team programs, school volleyball programs and general department administration.
This position will play an important role in supporting program delivery, coordinating coaches and venues, managing enquiries and contributing to positive experiences for athletes, coaches, parents, schools and other stakeholders.

As a not-for-profit organisation, VSA reinvests all program revenue back into the sport, supporting participation from junior pathways and social play through to high-performance competition.

Key Responsibilities
Provide administration support for Emerging Talent Hubs and Performance Pathway programs
Support the coordination and administration of South Australian representative programs, including travel, selections, training schedules, venue bookings and team logistics
Assist with school volleyball program enquiries, bookings, coach rostering and participant feedback processes
Support coach rostering, supplier coordination, venue bookings and program communications
Liaise with the Head of Finance in relation to program specific invoicing and payments
Communicate professionally with athletes, coaches, parents, schools, clubs, suppliers and internal staff
Respond to incoming calls and emails in line with VSA's customer service expectations
Contribute to participation growth, program improvement and robust stakeholder engagement
Support a culture of safety, inclusion, professionalism and positive participant experience
About You
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
Strong administration skills and experience preparing correspondence, reports and written material
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
Experience building positive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
Sound digital skills, including Microsoft Office and Office 365, with the ability to learn and use online systems
Sound judgement, discretion and the ability to maintain confidentialityA collaborative, adaptable and self-motivated approach
A good understanding of volleyball at a recreational level is a bonus
Additional Requirements
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required, including during National Championship campaign periods (some interstate travel may be required)
Reliable transport and the ability to travel for program and event delivery
Valid Working With Children Check
Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain)
