The Role
An opportunity exists for an experienced Cyber Engineer to support the introduction into service of cutting-edge capabilities.
Working closely with engineering teams and key stakeholders, you will provide specialist cyber engineering expertise to support certification, assurance and secure system delivery across high-profile acquisition programs.

Permanent Full-Time
Based in Canberra – onsite
Must hold a current NV1 Security Clearance
Your Duties Will Include
Support cyber engineering activities for acquisition programs from design through to introduction into service.
Develop and review cyber certification and testing plans,
ensuring compliance with requirements.
Compile and coordinate verification evidence to support cyber certification activities.
Represent the Commonwealth in technical working groups, design reviews and engineering governance forums.
Engage with contractors and stakeholders to deliver secure, high-quality outcomes and value for money.
Skills And Experience
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Technology or equivalent industry experience.
Experience supporting cyber engineering, system assurance or cyber certification activities within complex environments.
Strong knowledge of network security, system hardening and secure software development practices.
Experience with cryptography, key management, incident detection and cyber response.
Familiarity with government cyber frameworks and standards such as NIST ******, STIGs or equivalent.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and influence engineering and project teams.
