About the Role:
As the Commissioning Technician, you'll lead the testing, configuration, integration, and delivery of advanced electronic security systems across Defence, Government, and commercial projects.
Acting as a senior technical escalation point, you'll ensure systems are commissioned to the highest operational, client, and compliance standards while supporting project teams with technical expertise and problem-solving throughout the delivery process.

What You'll Bring:
Must be an Australian Citizen (NV1 Security Clearance eligibility required – Secom will support this)
SA Security Licence (or ability to obtain)
5+ years' experience commissioning electronic security systems
Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, and integrated platforms
Experience with Gallagher, Genetec, Milestone, Inner Range, Lenel, Honeywell, Bosch, Avigilon, or similar
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
Understanding of IP networking and integrated system environments
Driver's Licence and White Card
Strong communication and documentation skills
Relevant qualifications in electronics, security, IT/networking, or related fields
Nice to Have:
Vendor certifications across major security platforms
Experience in Defence, government, or high-security environments
(FAT) Factory acceptance testing and integrated systems experience
ICT networking skills
Experience mentoring technicians or leading commissioning activities on major projects
