It takes a special person to be a Home Care Worker and help the older members of our community to maintain their home and enhance their wellbeing.
We are looking for that person to join the Silverchain team in Penrith and surrounding suburbs.

Sometimes your client will be having a bad day or traffic delays you, but you know not to take this personally and can shake it off before your next client.
Are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems,



knowing when to ask your manager for help.
In Addition, You Will Need
A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
At least 3-6 months of hands‐on experience supporting clients in a community‐based or in‐home aged care setting.
The role
General housekeeping and making beds
Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
Washing, folding and ironing laundry
Meal preparation and grocery shopping
Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things.
